Extra Credit
A&P 1
Additional optional credit toward your grade beyond the expected assignments, tests, etc., may be obtained in several ways (see below).
Besides helping you learn useful concepts, extra credit serves as a sort of "grade insurance" by giving you a cushion of extra points—should you miss a test or exam or perform poorly on a test or two due to unforeseen circumstances.
1. Read the assigned book (with accompanying activities) and take online quizzes on the book. Click here for the details. (up to 50 points)
November 15 is the deadline for "Genome" Extra Credit activities.
2. Complete the Practice Midterm Exam (up to 5 points) and/or Practice Final Exam (up to 5 points)
3. Complete the preliminary survey (5 points) and the wrap-up final course survey (5 points).
4. Take Test 0 (up to 5 points). This test is required—but you still get EXTRA CREDIT!

Extra-extra Credit
The following can be used in addition to the extra credit options presented above.
I sometimes give extra-extra credit for any web-ready images or animations OF YOUR OWN CREATION that I can use in my learning outlines, study tips, web pages, or other publications.
Examples include actual concept maps or concept lists, photos of students engaging in the study activities described in the study tips at www.lionden.com/study_tips.htm, or other photos or cartoons or diagrams that help illustrate the study tips or course concepts. This includes clear, high-resolution medical images or photographs (only with the subject's written permission).
The amount of extra-extra credit is negotiable up to 10 points, depending upon their usability for my course and quality of the material. (Be sure to provide a signed model release form for any person depicted in your images and your signed permission granting ownership of the content of the project to me.)
Check my WISH LIST for specific things that I'm looking for.
