| Additional optional credit toward your grade beyond the expected
assignments, tests, etc., may be
obtained in several ways: 1.
Use the Student Response System
(i>clicker) in class frequently. When you use the clicker, your responses
are anonymous in class but are tallied by the system. You will
receive 10 "clicker points" per week of participation (5 pts for each
class, if your section meets twice per week). At certain
points in the semester, I will post your total "clicker points" so far.
This is not a score of the number correct; they are participation points.
After the last day of classes, I will add extra credit points to your
course total points based on how many clicker points you have.

credit!
3. Complete the
Practice Midterm Exam (up to 5 points) and/or
Practice Final Exam (up to 10 points)
4. Complete the

[Note: the points for the survey will
not be added to your grades until after the survey deadline,
even if you have
already completed it.]
