The Road Show: Spangle #1
by Gary Jennings

Mass Market Paperback - 384 pages 1st Forge edition (February 1, 1999)
Forge; ISBN: 0812564715 ; Dimensions (in inches): 1.11 x 4.19 x 6.76

From Kevin: This is the first of a trilogy of circus fiction novels by bestselling historical fiction writer Gary Jennings (remember Aztec?).  In this series, Jennings starts with a fictional mudshow in the South at the close of the American Civil War and takes it through epic journeys to the North, across to Europe --and beyond.  I like Jennings, anyway, but he was amazingly accurate with his details of circus lore.  Some of his characters are unlike any I've met in the circus, but many will remind you of SOMEONE you've met along the road!
