The photo to the right shows Kevin Patton on the
SCC 1998 Spring Break trip exploring the catacombs under the streets of Paris. Here,
thousands of bones from Paris's 17th and 18th century ossuaries are stacked in neat
formations. This network of macabre pathways served as the HQ of the French
Resistance during WWII.

The photo shows Kevin Patton and his former mentor
(in lion taming) John Campolongo at the 18th International Circus Festival of Monte Carlo
(1994). John won the coveted Silver Clown award (in John's hand) for his all-lion act
--quite an achievement for an American artist. John is now touring the U.S. with a
tiger act.
