Study Tour in the Andes (Peru)
I was born in St. Louis on a warm August evening in 1958.
I enjoy live entertainment, especially circuses and theater.
My Bacon number is 3
Other interests:

- Nature (including wildlife photography, hiking, and birding)

- Trivia games (and trivial activities, for that matter)
Prior to my teaching/writing career, I was a zookeeper, wildlife rehabilitator & researcher, and wild animal trainer.
- I've worked mainly with big cats, sea lions, and birds of prey but have also worked with elephants, horses, and MANY other types of animals.
- I even worked with Einstein, the ONLY trained tamandua (lesser anteater) in the HISTORY OF THE WORLD, originally trained by Dr. "Jungle George" Stoecklin.
