Migration!

The LIONS have been recently and suddenly forced to migrate with the wildebeests to new web server software, so everything is kinda messed up in the LION DEN right now.

HINT: Change the URL from "lionden.com" to "lionden.info" to view the old "legacy" Lion Den (until I get this one fully tamed).

Our sincere apologies!

How do I print out my test or quiz (or Check In)? How do I find my previous tests?

After you submit your test, then Moodle will give you the opportunity to review it. If you submitted your test at a previous time, then go to Grades in the Administration side bar. Click on the name of the test you want to print, then click on the attempt number you want.

In the Review screen, click on the "Show all questions on one page" link just above the question (see image below).

Now print as you normally would print a web page. Usually, that means either clicking the Print icon in your browser's toolbar or clicking File in the menu, then Print.

I suggest "duplex" printing (printing on both sides of the paper) if you can, to conserve paper and make your study materials less bulky.

Some folks like to copy and paste the test into a Word document, but the formatting is funky and often the images don't copy. So I don't recommend that.

When I print out my completed test or quiz (or Check In) only ONE question is printed

This only happens when your test or quiz was presented ONE ITEM AT A TIME.

After submitting the test or quiz, you can go back and review it. When you do so, Moodle automatically presents it one item at a time—just like you took the test or quiz. However, you can review THE WHOLE THING at once if you click the "Show all questions on one page" link just above the question (see image below).

Once Moodle displays a review of the whole test, you can then easily print out the entire thing at one time.

Can I print out just one test item to work on offline before submitting my test for grading?

Yes. While you are on the item (page) you want to work on, just print as you normally would print a web page. Usually, that means either clicking the Print icon in your browser's toolbar or clicking File in the menu, then Print.

This only applies for tests in which test items are displayed one at a time (one per page).

Can I print out just those test items that were marked as incorrect?

You may want to do that so that you can review them with your study partners or the instructor.

In the Review screen, simply click on the item number of the first item that you want to print. The item numbers are located just above the question, where they are listed as "Page:" numbers (see image above).

When the item appears, print as you normally would print a web page. Usually, that means either clicking the Print icon in your browser's toolbar or clicking File in the menu, then Print.

Then select the number of a new item from the Page: listing above the item (see image above) and repeat the process for all items that you want to print.

This only applies for tests in which test items are displayed one at a time (one per page).
