Some of my answers were not accepted
So far, 100% of cases where at student answered an item but the answer is missing on the graded test are caused by a failure to SAVE the answer before moving forward.
Nearly all of my online tests and quizzes present each test item on its own page, rather than as a huge list that you have scroll through like you would on a paper test with many staples pages.
Why do I do this? Check out the FAQ
This means that you should save each item before leaving the page!
Yes, if you forget to do that you can always come back and save it before submitting the test—but you WILL forget some of them if you make this your regular practice.
Know what? Forgetting to save answers happens almost as easily on a long, scrolling online test.
It is much better to get in the habit of saving each item when you answer it.
If you forget to answer one or more items or you forget to save one or more items, they are lost forever. There are no do-overs of a submitted test attempt. Lucky for you, there are mutliple attempts allowed on most tests and quizzes, so you at least have that.
An important warning
Be sure not to SUBMIT your test before finishing it!
Because each page offers both a SAVE and a SUBMIT option, if you are not careful you might accidentally hit the submit button. The system will ask you whether you are sure, but if you get in the habit of ignoring those warnings, you could wind up submitting your test for grading after having answered only a few items!

The last word
If you submit your test without all your answers saved, there's nothing I can do. I have no way of telling what you answered but failed to save. You'll just have to be more careful on your other attempts of the same test!
OK, one more word
Do NOT get into the habit of moving back and forth within an online test!
- It will make it more likely that you'll forget to save some of your answers.
- It will take you much longer to complete each test.
- It's a habit that will work against you later when taking professional licensing exams, certification tests, and standardized exams.
