Excellence was established January 23, 1999, and is not registered, copyrighted, or
trademarked in any way--and should never be!
2. Clyde's Seal of
Excellence has no value, intrinsic or extrinsic, real or perceived, tangible or
intangible, and is owned by no person, corporation, animal, or plant.
3. Clyde's Seal of
Excellence has no relevance to the content, suitability for a particular purpose,
design, location, lawfulness, or any other aspect of a page or site where it appears --or
where it doesn't appear for that matter.
3½. Clyde, Kevin, and all of their
friends, family, or associates disclaim any responsibility for the use of Clyde's Seal of Excellence or any result arising from its use.
4. To merit the great (or dubious) honor of
appending Clyde's Seal of Excellence to your page, you must
have the following qualifications:
a. you must have control of a web page
b. you must be able to copy the logo and
text, with or without the hyperlink, below and paste them in on your page

Clyde or Kevin, and any seals or sea lions that may be depicted here, do not give any endorsement, approval, or anything else of
consequence to the sites or pages upon which Clyde's Seal of

6. Anyone affiliated with any secret
organization may not participate. And don't think we don't know who you are!

If you really do end up putting this on your site, let the
webservant know. Then
we'll have a real list of participants. If you'd rather not admit it, though, we'll
understand. (of course, we're not going to put some nasty site on our list --but we
guarantee we'll give it a thorough review before making that decision).
7. If you agree to all of these terms, you
must state this in writing, have it notarized, and mail it to someone who cares.
Then you may post it (remember: COPY don't LINK the graphics) on your site.
