Your
online test disappears suddenly?
 Sometimes, when you accidentally click
outside the little quiz window, the test moves BEHIND the window you are looking
at --so it SEEMS to disappear. One way to find the window that is hiding
is to look at the bottom of your browser and look at the little bars (usually
gray) that show what windows you have open. Click on each one if you are
not sure which is the one you need.
Another way is to click the minimize button
in the upper right corner of each window, causing it to be “minimized” and
thus out of your way --revealing the open windows below it. Keep
minimizing windows until you find the one you are looking for.
SCC students: sometime
between the hours of 3am to 6am every morning, WebCT automatically shuts down so
that a backup of the previous day's data can be backed up. If you are in
WebCT at the time, you will be kicked out of the system. Not to worry.
When you log back in after the system has returned online, you can pick up where
you left off.
It could also be a conflict between WebCT
and your browser program. For
