Migration!

The LIONS have been recently and suddenly forced to migrate with the wildebeests to new web server software, so everything is kinda messed up in the LION DEN right now.

HINT: Change the URL from "lionden.com" to "lionden.info" to view the old "legacy" Lion Den (until I get this one fully tamed).

Our sincere apologies!

How do I save my WebCT assignment as a Word file?

I will not accept any wordprocessor files that are not in these standard file formats:

Microsoft Word

or

Portable Document File (PDF)

Your filename should end in either .doc, .docx, or .pdf

If your filename ends in any other suffix, it is not in the correct format and simply adding this suffix to the filename will not fix it.

Here's how to save your file as a MS Word file:

  1. If you are using Microsoft Word or Open Office Writer, simply save the file.  It's already in the correct format!

  2. If you are using Corel Wordperfect or some other word processing software, then:

  3. Go to File in the toolbar

  4. Select Save As

  5. Type in a File Name (it's best to use your name and the name of the assignment in the file name)

  6. Near the file name box, you'll see another box for "File Type"

Select "MS Word" or equivalent from the drop-down menu. It may also be listed as "Word" or "Microsoft Word"

Use the latest (highest number) version of MS Word file if given a choice
